Default Standard turbo configurations in and out???

Standard turbo configurations in and out??? My question is this a normal turbo? Its from a 90's Volvo, its water cooled too.

In terms of OEM standards, yes. But for the Aftermarket in terms of finding direct fit supplemental components for a custom application, no. Not really.

I,m planning on using an external waste gate anyway. So can the vband be loosened and the charge side moved?

looks a bit rough. Iv never considered nor seen anyone using volvo turbos on our hondas. However all i know is my dads 1992 volvo 740 turbo wagon sure is a pig.

Well ill be damned! ha Iv just never thought much of the older turbo volvos. Idk about their newer turboed inline 5's though.

Whats the sizing on those things anyway? Iv never really been impressed with the various volvo 740s and 850's my dad drags home. But obviously those run at very modest levels stock. (he's got an obsession with the old school volvos)

I remember that site 7 or 8 years ago. Taught me how to turn a Civic CX header into a custom turbo manifold with a 14b turbo. Thats when the "AFC Hack" was the thing to do lol.
