Troubleshooting: VTEC Crossover-engagement issue

Icon4 Troubleshooting: VTEC Crossover-engagement issue

ok so I have a lsvtec build in my si everything is plugged up correctly speedometer works even though it reads about 15 mph difference from waze app also oil is at the correct level what else could cause it too not work I have a chipped p28 and I have a stock si Ecuador I plugged up still not need help

Check the FAQs and check to see if the actual solenoid is operating. VTEC engagement is both a ECU and physical engagement via an oil pressure solenoid and an electrical input to that solenoid via the ECU.

how will I know if the solenoid works or not... I guess my question is how can I test it

you apply battery voltage to the solenoid, listen for it to click

like do I hook it up to the single wire or dual wires
