Trouble with Fields controller install

Trouble with Fields controller install
I'm having problems with my Fields. I tried to install it but, keep getting a CEL.
I have the ECU harness for it from Feilds, so its just a matter of soldering a couple wires. Or so I thought... the code its throwing is 23. I thought maybe I had the VTM lines crossed or something. But I've checked and tripled checked and I still cant get that damn CEL to go off.
Does anyone have any good wiring diagrams? I have a 95 GSR
Need all the help I can get!

Should the Fields unit come on(i.e. light up in some fashion) once current is supplied? Or will look "dead" until it is properly setup and likes what signals it sees.
I hooked it up to some power and I got nothing.
