trick to replacing valve seals
i did all the intake seals last night. tonight i'll be doing the exhaust valve seals. i was wondering if there is a trick to getting the seals off? i pry a good bit and they eventually come off, but i nick up some parts of the head in the mean time. just keep prying them off with a screw driver or is there a trick?
i got mines from the schley products. my little sister described it as a tool used to pull out the wisdom tooth. look like pliers with a circular shape to grip the valve seals really good. you could do the whole exhaust side in less than minute.

I don't think it really grips the valve seal with a lot of side compression. Rather, it mainly lifts from the seat of the seal and the side compression is used to retain the seal to keep it from dropping or flying out.
ah...the head is off. i found the trick. dont do them one at a time. remove all intake valves, then u have more room to pry. then put it back together..and remove all exhaust valve....and repeat.
