It's not hard at all. It's just a pain in the *** to do it.
You'll have to take all of the little things off of the tranny (starter, clutch slave, etc), drop the suspension, pull the axles/halfshaft, take out the tranny mounts, take out the bolts for the tranny. And then pull it off. Do the opposite to put a new one in.
