Default transmission problems

i juss put a new D series tranny in. for the first month it was good. now whenever i take off in first gear or reverse, the whole car shakes like its wheel hopping. does anybody know whats wrong? i already popped a hole in my axle boot n broke a exhaust hinge because of it

i have heard it can do this if you get have air in the slave cylinder line, try bleeding it.

Could be real bad clutch chatter. Or a busted/misaligned axle.

wouldnt that do it in all gears? the first and reverse are the same gear, so my guess is something inside the trans

its a 6 puck clutch. my axles is brand new also. i dont think it could be the gears because in first and reverse its really bad but sometimes when i shift it shakes a little bit. i heard from 2 people it could be because i didnt resurface my flywheel.

You don't really have to resurface your flywheel when using a 6 puck. They do it for you. It seems as though your clutch is dragging or you're not giving it enough gas when taking off in 1st or reverse. Just ride the clutch and break it in a little more and you should be fine. I have a 6 puck in mine and I didn't resurface the flywheel... it did the same thing until I broke it in.
