I was just wondering if my tranny is going bad? I don't have a problem with getting into gear but when I shift and give it gas I feel a jerk in my shifter. It also makes like a noise when first going into every gear. I have a new clutch so I don't think that'll be the problem. I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem but eversince I took off my 17's and put 15's back on my car I've been having this problem.

 

If it is a grind you are describing, you can try filling up your tranny with Pennzoil or GM Synchomesh.

 

Does the shifter movement you describe happen everytime you let off and get back on the throttle, because this is just the movement of the engine.
