Default trans. question

Someone told me that the CRV 2 wheel drive trans was gear lower than a LS and would be better than a LS for the 1/4? Is this true and if so how reliable is it in a built LS swap? Some info please

Whether it is or it isn't, a B16 tranny still has closer gearing and will offer better acceleration times.
