Light flywheel, shorter gears, strong clutch, and a LSD.

Shorter gears = always in boost.

Don't run an LS tranny unless you have a straight LS motor, we won't even run them on our 500whp+ turbo cars because the gears are just too long... You have two real options that work well if you have a B series VTEC motor... Either a straight GSR Y80/S80 with Quaife LSD or you can completely hybridize an LS, using the same LSD... If you've seen any of the vids that I have up on H-T you can see Duc's car, during break in we ran an LS tranny (with Quaife LSD) on it for sake of just being able to drive normal... It's hard to cruise on the freeway at under 3000rpm with anything shorter ie GSR/ITR/B16 gearing... Tuned at only WOT with like a T04X^2 turbo it made 489whp... (With the new turbo we want 600-650whp) Anyways on 18" Volk TE37's it can just barely break loose 3rd on the freeway... Brian's B18C1 making 501whp now (21lbs of boost) can break loose 4th and 5th!!! He's running a GSR with Quaife LSD tho... Here's the video if you never saw it... (Right Click and Save Target As) Ground Zero Motorsports Video Have Fun!!!!

Track ='s MT 24.5x9x13 slicks... We grip going into third with them... Probably try some 26's soon... Try what you want but I'll tell you, I don't think you'll like the straight LS if you compared it to a GSR... Latez
