ok, I'm pretty sure my transmission seal is going bad. I don't know why, the transmission is not that old. but I was gonna try to replace it. I know it's just some sort of silicon or something. so I was wondering if I can just back the bolts on the transmission and apply the sealant then tighten and call it a day. is this possible? I'm scared to take apart my transmission, will stuff start falling out if I do this? like bearings and what not?

 

get yourself a helms and you'll be able to do it.

 

which seal is leaking would help.

there are 4 rubber seals and then the seal between the case halfs which is just Hondabond RTV.

 

i think it's the seal between the case halfs

 

your gonna have to pull the tranny off the car, then seperate it on the workbench.
Clean both surfaces with carb cleaner, the reseal with HondaBond.
