i launched my car, and when i went to throw it in 2nd, i grinded , well right after, the car didn't want to go into 3rd or 4th gear, and the rest of the gears felt really stiff. Now the car sometimes goes into 3rd, but rarely into 4th. Reverse is a bitch to get into as well. I kno i probably toasted my synchro'(s), but what i want to kno is why 3rd and 4th? why not just 2nd (the gear i missed)? BTW its a GSR tranny w/stock . TIA

 

what is shifting like when you are idling in neutral? If it's hard then, its not the syncros.

 

when i'm just sitting there not rolling? its still hard, thats when it wont go into 4th at all! when i start driving it gets a little easier, but still doesnt want to go into 3rd or 4th sometimes

I'd say drain and refill your tranny fluid. If that doesn't fix it, than unfortunately i think you need a new tranny

 

flush the system
replace the fluid with honda MTF
