i have a s80 tranny bought off some local guy and it only had 1 stud for the top tranny mount.i called acura and told him i have a gsr tranny and i need a stud.i picked it up and i put it inside the hole,what do you know the dam thing dont fit.its too small.here is the part number if anyone knows that can tell me its the wrong one.part # 90380-sr3-000.can anyone help me out on what right one i need or if i can use a bolt screwing inside tranny case.

iam not sure if the 2 studs thats stick out are the same but the one in the pic for display i need.i have the other one in already.

 

why not just use 2 bolts and one stud???

 

thats the right part number for the stud. not to sure why it won't fit.

 

im confused...the trans you have already has one stud in it??? cuz after looking at pics of b-series trans, they should only have one.

I had a similar issue, it had to do with the stud being stripped out and retapped too large. Gave it to my mechanic and they heli-coiled it for me and has been fine ever since.
