Well I had dissassmebled my tranny at 49k to replace some bearings and reused my MTF because it wasnt too old. At the time I was running GM syncromesh fiction modified. I decided to switch back to honda MTF. At 54k I replaced the fluid (which was dirty black) with regular 10w30 castrol GTX motor oil. I figured that I would run the regular oil for 1k miles so it could clean up the tranny and flush out all the old fluid. Today I have 55k and I drained the oil and its dirty black. I dont understand why the fluid is so dirty after so little time in there. Is there something that is causing the fluid to get so dirty. I Am going to pour in honda MTF, should I flush it out again soon and put some new fluid in there? Why is it getting so Dirty?? Any help is appeciated.
