okay, so i posted about this topic about three times...my car clicks when i am driving it, but it only clicks when in gear. everybody said it was my input shaft bearing. so i was taking out my tranny, and i noticed that my driver side axle had a big tear in the boot...could this be the problem? the only thing is, wouldnt the car be clicking when i am coasting too? i would hate to take my tranny apart only to find out that i had to change my boot.

 

Check both drivesahfts for torn boots. Get the axle rebuilt by a shop. See if that clears up the problem.

i would replace the axles since its a lot cheaper than takin the tranny apart. it only makes noise when accelerating?

 

yup, only when i have clutch out and in gear.

Change the axles and quit bumping this ****.
