Default Tranny change

Ive had a 96 240sx for about 2 years now, and i havent really been too excited about fixing it up because it is automatic..i kno i kno...it wasnt my choice but whatever, whats done is done. So now, two years later, im stuck with a dilemma:Change cars to something stickshift and hope to find a car with a little more stock power, or convert my car to stick and start building the 'ever-so-rare' silvia conversion.

my question to you automotive enthusiasts is how much of a pain in the ***($$$) is it to convert my car to 5 spd manual?????????????

I would personally ask this question on a nissan board since most of us here are familiar with hondas. Some people may know but you might get more of a response on a nissan board. Just my 2 cents.
