hey
well i just installed a lsd in my tranny..and the only prob i'm having now is putting on the damn tranny case..those of u have work on trannies know what i'm talking about...u have to alinge the case w. a stopper ring on top of the mainshaft..i can't seem to do it..ive tried it like 10 times now..and it just doesnt go in right..and the damn thing move so easily too..any advice on how to do it..? i'm gonna rip my hair out soon...ugh..thanks

 

you have to have a special machine to do that or a type of tool ive seen it done it takes patience. It slides on though just make sure you dont mess up that bearing puttin it on i think you drive it down equally with one of these rubber hammers with a flathead screwdriver. hope this helps but ti doesnt always hurt to get a seond opinion ya know.

 

the case should fit right over w/o any special tool but to get it to come together/close you must open back up the snap ring like when you splitted the two cases in the beginning.

 

thansks for the advice....i finally did it..i guess u have to be really slow and wiggle it a little to get it to set in right...thats prob the hardest part of this hole thing..lol
