Default TPS Question

If your TPS is not set at the right settings will it throw a ECU code or will it just not work correctly?

If the TPS is not set at the right settings, the ecu should throw a code 7.

Only if they are not within a certain range. The ecu will adjust for slight variations

You measure it at closed and full throttle.

Closed = .5
Full Throttle = 4.5

It *May*. TPS only really uses to measure WOT, idle and fast changes of the throttle. Regardless, you should adjust it to spec.

correct...fuel and ignition maps are based on MAP. TPS is just there for calculating load and stuff like that
