tps and iat codes
so recently after replacing the TB gasket i have been throwing a tps and iat code...
the wierd part is its hardly ever solid it mostly flickers but when it does it bucks and whenever it becomes solid teh car bucks when comming on and off the gas and at low throttle it starts bucking also iv been playing with the problem for awhile with not much progress
both these codes came on at the same time after puttin the gasket in which makes me think these sensors are not dead could be but i dont see it as likely
the only problem i think i may be haven is a vacume leak at the throttle body because one nut on the TB was lost in the process of putting it back on so another was put in which was thinner which may have less torque on the TB? or do you think maybe some of the studs are mixed up on the throttle body?
thanx

The IAT is not on the TB so that is a seperate issue, is your TPS screwed in or riveted? Did you plug the sensors back in? You could of possibly bumped it out of calibration. Get a voltmeter and you will see 3 wires going to the TPS strip some wire off the red and some off the green and hook the - up to the green and the positive up to the red, turn the key to the on position in the ignition and the reading should be between .45 to .50 V. If is does not read that you need to loosen the TPS and turn it until it reads that. Also is your TB butterfly all the way closed? I had an IAT code for a year or so and I robbed one off an LS and it fixed her right up, so maybe it just died.
