strange problem with IACV and throttle body
I changed my throttle body on my B18C because the previous one was an obd-1 TB with the FITV on the bottom. I swapped that out for an OBD-2 throttle body but after I swapped TB's sometimes the CEL comes on for (CODE 14 - IACV) so I changed the IACV and it ran good for a week and now the CEL came back. The OBD-2 TB that I'm using used to be on my D16Y8 and I used to get CEL's for IACV and I would constantly clean the IACV out with carb cleaner because if I didn't then car would run like crap. My question is can either the TPS or MAP sensor on the throttle body cause the IACV to malfunction????? Thanks
another thing is I never had any IACV problems with the OBD-1 Throttle body.......
