Default ignision

This happened in my 79 toyota truck (the ski moblie) I just thought sense I was here any way I'd ask for some help.

I think the ignision, either the coil or the points probably the coil, has gone out. Does any one know waht is sounds like or what the car does when it goes out?
Any help would be greatly appricated.

I do own a honda a 2000SI that has quite a bit of work done to it, all myself, if this had happened in it, the problem would allready be fixed.

just replace the points, since they are dirt cheap and then if that doesn't work, replace the coil.

Yea, might as well do a tune up on it too. Nice thing about old toyota tracks is tha parts are sooooo cheap. Just get a new coil, points, cap, rotor, wires and plugs and for less than $100, you are set for the winter. Don't forget to check the timing chain on that 20R
