Default torqe converter

i am wondering what it means when they say it has a bad torqe converter...cause the motor i'm gonna buy is an automatic LS and they say it has a bad torqe converter??well help me out if you can i am new at this....thanks in advance

The torque converter is part of the automatic transmission, not the engine. Don't worry about it if all you need is the engine.
