Default took apart the motor

well i completely took apart my motor im the one with the knock well all the bearings on the bottom end were toast but none were physically spun into a different place also the bearings in the head had little nicks on the cam caps (bearings) and the bottom part of the bearing which is actaully part of the head what do i have to do can the be polished out or do i have a bigger problem i need help pretty bad im pretty mechanical compitent so just let me know what i need to do about the small knicks that appear in some of the cam journals

u can actually have that part of the head align honed just like they do the mains in blocks...try a local machine shop.....hopefully your "nicks" arent to deep.

you cant really see the pic good, but the cam journals always(or at least the ones i have seen) have imperfections, if they have polished sides they should be ok.

which sides are you talking about the edge where it meets the cam caps?

MANUAL FOCUS??? hehe, j/k Anyways... You'll almost always have a little scoring but as BRUCELEEROY said, if they aren't too deep and really bad just have them line honed... If they have sharp edges I'll normally just debur with ~1000+ ge\rit sandpaper... Otherwise I really wouldn't be too worried, you can plastigauge to check clearances if you wanna check spec... Also in the future I would just refer to your cam "bearings" as the journals... That's what they really are and it just easier to understand... Oh well, not a big deal... Just my $0.02

sorry about the technicality i forgot the word(journal so i figured it was a bearing sorta so i put that down)
