Does any one know what the rating is on legal tint. and where do i get the mirror tint?

 

Consult your local authorities as to the percentage of tint allowed and on which windows. Then pick up the yellow pages.

 

tell you right now mirror tint is illegal...worked for a tint shop..35% is darkest it can be in md. and no colors/relective tints are legal.. dont know where your from but down south many states allow up to 20% tint.

 

Ohio's legal limit is 50%, and no reflective (mirror) film.

 

only 50%??? Wow that pretty crazy.

my gf has 35% and it barely looks darker, 50 has to be horrible...... waste of money to tint to 50%

It depends on your reasons for tinting in the first place. Even at 50%, heat rejection is relatively good, and UV protection is identical to any other percentage film.

 

50% is the most u can do also mirror tint is illegal in ohio
