I had a bad solder by the shop that helped me with my swap. It was the vtec signal comin from the ecu, and the reason why I knew it was this was, after a while, my vtec controller stopped reading my vtec on the menu. Played with some wires and squeezed a few wires electrical taped together. Opened it up, and the wire was nearly comin off and was probably draing my battery cuz for some reason, my ecu stays on even with the car off. Soldered back together, and I'm happy to say that I haven't had any start probs for about a week.

I'd first make sure the wire was in the ecu securely, and then watch the rpm guage on the vtec controller and play with wires. It worked for me

there should be a wire spliced to the ignition signal on the ECU....check this splice because that is the signal wire to read RPM, if everything is cool then something may be wrong with the harness...

Yeah, that wire was f* on mine, but I was able to squeeze it together to make it touch again. The wiring should be illustrated in the manual If you didn't install yourself.

Easy with the caps lock, it's considered rude.
