Hello again, is there anyone who lives in California who knows if it's ok to Tint the windows on the S2k, ofcourse just the side windows, not the windshield.

Oh and does anyone have a recommendation of good preformance brakes? Need to change my brakes.

 

i think the max limit is 15 or 18% on our sides. Yes you are most correct no tint on the front.

 

no driver's and front passenger's side window tint allowed in CA. it sucks, but i have 20% on mine anyway.

Really?? Huh..I had a friend that just got pulled over and he had tint all the way around and the cop only wrote him up because he had it on the windshield...i hate how our laws aren't outlined in a public manner.

 

i know. of all places, you would think we need it the most in california. i guess they're worried about gangstas and drug dealers hiding behind the tint. btw, your friend is lucky to get away with his side windows tint.

 

Up here in Oregon the legal limit is 35%

I did 5% all teh way around...

In the state of CA, it is illegal and prohibited to tint the driver and passenger side windows on vehicle of any sort.

I know, I got pulled over many times when I drove my Civic(tinted). The reason was for safety, security, and visibility for any emergency and driving conditions where other drivers could see you eye to eye.

I think that black cars look great with tint.

ive got my accord tinted 35%fronts 5%everything else its daark paint too

sorry to dissapoint you Obi Won... haha, nah I think it looks really nice with Berlina... im keeping it all the same % around... most likely 30-20 depending on when I make the game time decision...

 

ill get some freshly waxed pics of my accord to *****, you can see the tints like that for reference

My windows came tinted, and I've never had a problem with the cops!

The police here in VA love to give tint tickets.

 

its illegal to tint windshield except for 4inch or less down from top. as for sides its illegal no matter what tint it is. only windows are ones behind the drivers ie back passengers and back window only.

depending on the cops in your area, its only a 10 fixing ticket . the only bad thing is you have to remove to get it signed off unless you know a cop like me . 20% back and 35% fronts, wish i did 20 all around tho.

i got tint because it blocks out uv and feels a lot cooler parked.
