Timming belt help!!!.. asap

Default Timming belt help!!!.. asap

so im building a lsvtec for my em1 and im finally done... just need to put the timming belt and drop it in... ive been tryin to put the timming belt on now for like about 1 hour with the motor out.... im just about to rip my hair out... ne suggestion... thx in advance...

i had the same problem. so i used the bosch vtec water the pump. the gear is a little smaller so makes it easier to slip on the tbelt.

which water pump you are using determines which timing belt you should use.
If you are using a vtec water pump 22 teeth you need a gsr/itr timing belt, but if you are using a ls water pump 19 teeth you need the ls timing belt.
Timing belts can just be a PITA sometimes, if you ask me.
