Default TIMING PLEASE HELP!!! B18Ls/vtec

ok here is the story ... I make a left turn slowly. runs fine lalala. go to second.. give it gas and POP! POP! POP! POP! Black smoke in the mirror not accelerating... try to give it gas again same thing back fire city and black smoke.... pull into gas station, turn it off try to start it turns over fine but just back fires.... will not run.. everyone I talk to says the timing belt prolly jumped a tooth. So we try to move the belt a tooth get it to change a tooth now can't get the belt to completly tighten back up????..... how do I get it to tighten back up..and does it really sound like I jumped a tooth on timing belt???!?!?!

easy way to find out, instead of trying to move the belt, why dont try using a timing gun, its 10x easier then moving teeth in advance or retard way, did you check the belt tensioner which is what keeps the belt nice and tight it is in between cam gears and crank shaft pulley. GL man!:thumbups:

For starters you don't want to just go randomly move the timing belt a tooth or so in either direction, make sure the timing marks line up.
