timing belt keeps breaking???
My timing belt has broken twice in the past 5000 miles.. what the hell could be causing this.. I had honda replace it both times.. Could it be cam gears?? Im running hayame cam gears right now, i dont know if that is whats causing it but i dont know what else it could be.. Please some one give me some suggestions...
Did you ask them if the found anything in there. I've had my inner cover bolt come loose and shread my t-belt. Also are you running it with open covers? Most of the times its a foreign object if the belts relatively new.
That is the problem, the stones get between the belt and the timing gear and cause premature wear. Put back on the cover or fabricate one.

upgraded valvesprings with increased tension cause more force to be exerted on the belt. with a higher lift cam like you have, it increases this wear again. not having upgraded the LMAs to ITR units can also cause your valvetrain to bottom out like stock shocks on upgraded springs. I would look into TODA's timing belt or one of that nature for your application. running the upper valve cover open is OK, I have had my upper one open for months with no belt damage, keeping the bottom one in place.
