Default time for a new clutch?

I hear this noise when I step on the clutch... sounds like some old door opening..
is this a sign of needing a new clutch?

there is noise for pressing and releasing... like a old door opening if you know what I mean.. almost like a low "sweaking" sound..

hmm... it sounds like it's got nothing to do with clutch or tranny... when clutch is worn out, in my case, the whole car vibrated bad when letting out the pedal and quite a bit of play(from the pedal all the way down to engaging...) in some cases, clutch slipping...

try to lubricate all the joints and all the moving parts where the clutch pedal is... and see what happens...
--my clutch pedal used to make that kind of similar noise a while ago... i just lubricated... and it worked...

when was the last time u replaced ur clutch? how many miles did u put on since new?

Put some grease on the little ball joints in the rubber boot where the clutch slave cylinder goes into; it worked for me.
