Default clutch noise

I changed my clutch to an exedy racing clutch from clutchcityonline.com, I followed all the right steps when installing it, I greased the shaft and the fork in all the right places before putting the new throwout bearing in. now when the clutch is engaged I am getting a sound like a belt squealing coming from the clutch. if I just rest my foot on the clutch pedal it stops completely, and sometimes the noise doesn't even happen at all. Anyone know what this is, is it something to worry about, or is their a way to stop it without damaging anything or having to take the tranny off again? thanks for any replies.

I have put roughly 1000, the first 500 I was easy on it, no launches and the only time I accelerated hard was after the clutch was fully engaged. I assume it's the throwout bearing making the noise and the moment that clutch fork touches it, it stops but I am not positive.

but the questions is, is it just a annoying noise that I can ignore or will it cause any harm to anything?

Take it apart and fix it. Don't ignore it or you'll be buying another clutch.

I assume by that comment you have replaced your clutch and know what a bitch it is. now if it's just a stupid annoying noise that won't damage the clutch why waste the time taking it all apart to try and stop just a noise, when you could end up making it worse. now if it's a serious problem and it will damage the clutch then I will do it.

Yes, I have replaced my clutch before. If it wasn't making the noise before, then that probally means there's a problem. Right?
