Default throwing codes on a 95gsr swap into a 91 ls

This is my first post here and I am in need of help. I originally started out with a 95 gsr. After an accident, I pulled the motor and trans. and had it dropped into a 91 integra ls. Ever since I got the car back after the swap I have been throwing a code 6(coolant temp sensor). For the life of me can't figure out how to fix the damn problem. I was looking through the receipt from my swap and I fould a note saying "check engine light coolant temp sensor from ls ecu cam position sensor code".
When I first got my swap back I was running a pr4 ecu and using a VAFC to control when v-tec kicked. I have sinse swirched to a chipped pr3 ecu and still have the VAFC. I am just getting agrivated knowing that my car isn't running at it's best. The only time that v-tec seems to want to kick in is when I first start the car after allowing it to cool completely. Once it even starts to warm up, v-tec won't work at all.
I have already replaced the coolant temp sensor so I know that that's not the problem. Please help me get back my v-tec.
