Default throttle positioning sensor replacement

does anybody knows if it is acually posible to replace a TPS without having to replace the whole Throttle body? if so, how?? thanks in advance

On my Old School CRX, the TPS is secured with headless screws. I cut a slot into the top of the screws with a Dremel (my favorite tool) and simply unscrewed the screws holding the TPS in.

The problem is that you can not just buy a TPS from Honda. Maybe your local junkyard is more sympathetic.

what would be the symtomes of a bad TPS? could it be making the car run rich or lean? or retirding the timming? thanks
