Just wondering, when a car is idle the throttle plate is closed, so how is air getting into the engine? My intake manifold doesnt have a IACV either.
If there's no IAC, I would suspect you have a DBW car, in which case the ECU sets the throttle angle for target idle speed (no IAC)
If it's not DBW and there is no IAC, there must be a mechanical adjustment screw or throttle stop of some type (like a carburetor)
Engines don't run without air so it has to be getting in there somehow.
