throttle body
What sort of gain do u think a b16 or h22 throttle body will make on a d16z6, do i need to port match it to maximize gains, by the way i have no idea what this port matching is about could some one explian to me about it and were it should be done and may be sizes.
help pls!!!
help pls!!!
do you know if that throttle body will even fit the bolt pattern on the manifold. I don't know if they are swappable. Also, you might wanna measure it first to make sure that the inner diameters are significantly different.
as far as I know about the b16, it will fit, you won't see anything super different unless you port match the intake manifold to the throttle body. but, there will a small difference.
i had heard that if you bore out your throttle body you will need to recaliberate your throtle sensor or something like that. is this true? if so if i put on a bigger size throttle body wouldn't you need to do that? if this is true who can i take it to to get it recaliberate??
I had a JG bored TB on my car for a while, but put the stock back on (which I "polished" myself). With the JG I kept getting a CEL until I adjusted the TPS to it's maximum value...you just twist it as far as it will go and it worked fine...I'd think it would also give you better performance.
Sorry mate but what is a CEL and how do u adjust the TPS im getting a B16 throttle body with Map sensor separate on the blulk head the current one on my D16 z6 is on the top of it how do i go about changing things to get it working. how can u improve the b16 throttle body polishing it all what ever as i will be able to play around with it while i still can us the normal one. All responses welcome as i stuck.
