Are these brake rotors safe to use?
'm about to replace the pads and rotors on the front of my '90 Civic DX. Seeing as how I live in a city that relies heavily on salt during wintertime, I decided I should paint my brake rotors to keep them from getting covered in rust.
Now the paint I used was Dupli-color high heat with ceramic, the important part being that this paint suggests baking in order to achieve maximum strength and heat resistance. I cooked the painted rotors for an hour at 600F, and this is what they looked like when I pulled them out.

Now I know the bluing was caused by the heat, but I need to know if these rotors are safe to use, or if the heating progress may have ruined them. I'm hoping a quick cleaning/sanding/scrubbing may get rid of the blue but I don't really know what to do.

600* is about how hot the rotors get when you really get on them. That won't be hot enough to warp them. And don't worry about the bluish color; it'll come off as soon as you drive a few miles.
