IS there a difference in ABS and NON ABS MC and BB
I am changing out my stock civic coupe (rear disk conversion) brake booster and master cylender and prop valve but I went to junk yard and just yanked it all out of a 97 teg coupe and didnt bother to get what modle or if it had ABS is there a differnce between these parts and if so how do I tell. The thing that brought me to this question is that I went to check the prices elsewhere and they charged more for ABS.Any help thanx. Cus I dont want to launch and crash and die I have the cutest 1 year old son that loves his daddy. Piece.

I know for a fact that you have to use an ABS MC with and ABS booster, and non-ABS MC with non-ABS booster. The pushrod sticks out further on the ABS booster and will make your brakes stick....and the other way around...

ok I bought a whole booster withe the MC mounted on it but Im not sure if its abs or not so i should be good to go eather way right its going into a non abs system.
