heres a problem i just encountered... i have a non abs master and the abs booster on... i took the abs booster off to put the non abs booster on and the non abs booster doesnt sit flat against my firewall and when all hooked up it causes the brake lights to be on... what do i do.. i was also told that i could use my abs booster still but i would have to adjust the pushrod and make it shorter?

people do it for different reasons... some weight reduction for tegs they use for racing, others to clean up engine bay and some like me cuz the abs unit took a crap and cant afford a new unit so i had accessability to a totalled non abs teg and took the parts off and just stuck them on... or there are a few that thing its COOL

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by VRD^sam &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">abs comes in handy</TD></TR></TABLE> imo sometimes it does... all depends on who is driving... i know a lot of my buddies including myself all prefer non abs because thats what we learned to drive with and we learned to control our cars without abs... there has been several situations with some me and my buddies that abs has actually screwed us up because we are used to doing stuff with out abs... cuz also to some people it gives the driver more of a feeling of personal control over the car... so yah it does some times but it really depends on who is driving and what they like... <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by clean3two3 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">removing the abs would make changing the transmission fluid much easier.1 of many reasons </TD></TR></TABLE> haha ya dont have to worry about all those lines that run right through that area...
