Default testpipe / fuel pump question

on my 2000 JRSC GSR, i put my testpipe back on and now at idle, my fuel pump makes a tremendous amount of noise. its not a stock fuel pump, its a holley 255 i think. anyway, has anyone else heard of anything like this before? is there some type of correlation bt the two? seriously, its pretty noticeable, you can basically hear it over the engine noise. its not a whistle like supercharged v8's sound like. it does not sound good like thiers. it sounds kinda bad. just curious if anyone had any experience/knowledge with this. the rest of my exhasut setup is a kamakazie 4-1 and thermal 2.5. TIA.
