Default Temperature

Hi, guys... I have a question about my cooling sytem...

Yesterday, I just changed my temperature sending unit (for the gauge)and temperature swicth(for ON/OOF the fan).

The first day, it working normal, but today when the car is in the idle position the needle temperature gauge(inside the car) is showing almost High.(above half)
Then the fan kick's in(ON), the needle go down little bit, then the fan OFF, and the needle go up again, and so on....

But if I drove the car the needle temperature is showing normal position(below half)

Can somebody tell me what's wrong with my car?
Thanks....

try your thermostat or water pump. the sensor is not the problem.
