Default Tein Type Flex rebuild...

So I have the flexs for a DC2 ITR and one was leaking a little. They're in perfect condition, but I want to replace the seal in the leaky strut. Have any of you guys rebuilt your own TEINs? Do you know what the oil weight/capacity is?

I talked to TEIN and they keep telling me that they need to be sent to them, blah, blah, blah. They also said that they are charged with nitrogen. I find this hard to believe, as they have NO nipple or orifice to inject air/gas into. The "tech" said they have a special tool. Im not an idiot. Something doesnt ad up.

Im hoping a few of you guys can clear this up for me. I deal a lot with M/C suspension, but Im hesitant to tear into these, as there may be something I dont know. Thanks.

Tein carries a pretty good reputation, so I'd just send it back to them and see what they can do with it.

Well, Id rather be able to do it myself, as it costs $100 for each strut, each time and it has to go to Japan and back.
