Default Engine swap 95 Civic DX?

I have been searching for an engine replacement for my 95 Civic DX and it's been tough locally, to locate anything.
What engines fit in a Civic DX auto 4cyl besides a stock engine, and has anyone bought anything long distance and had it shipped? Is shipping expensive and is it safe to buy long distance?

Riddance, Use the search option...there is a thread out there that lists TONS of online engine dealers and the experiences users have had with them. Enjoy and Good luck!

Let's see...just about any four cylinder Honda Engine made between the years of 1988-2000 and a few before and after those dates. Please do us all a favor and discover the search function.

I have a 1993 Honda Civic Dx, Put a 1994-1995 Acura Integra Ls Motor in. It will fit nice and easy. The wiring is the same.

You will need:
Engine
Transmission
ECU
Shift Linkage
Axles
Throttle Cable
Shifter
you need these things from the integra to do this swap
its easy to do. if any questions let me know

This is true, and will give you a great daily driver, and the perfect foundation for an LS/VTEC if you ever care to build one.
