Tech questions ...... any clues ?
1) Can Indivisual Throttle bodies work with Nitrous ?
If so which kit ( i.e fogger , direct port , etc )
How does it connect ?
2) When converting from OBD-2 to OBD-1 , what needs to be done ?
Say i buy a skunk2 harness , do i just plug it in ?
Cause i have read that the distributor has to be re-wired , so i would like to know if this has to be done if an adaptor harness is bought ?
Who else makes adaptor harnesses ?
3) Who has the best NA pistons on the market ? ( i.e JE , Endyn ( rollerwaves ) , arias ,etc )
4) With the MSD retard control :- if i run nos , but when the bottle is not armed my timing is advanced ( to advanced for nitrous to run safely ) if i race a guy and wanna arm the bottle , do i have to turn off the car and use the MSD timing retard control to retard timing ?
Or can i arm the bottle ( remote bottle opener ) and retard the timing with the vehicle still on ( engine running ) ?

1.Direct port, after the throttle plates
2.Depends on what OBD1 ECU your plannig on using, the distributor only has to be rewired if your using a 16 tooth distributor with a 92+ ECU or vice versa
3.Endyn Roller waves, with out a doubt
4.Use the Accel 300+ if your using a smaller nos kit, if your going with a larger shot, AME or Hondata

Thanks riceboy ,
but i don't understand your answer for #4 ....
hondata will be used , but the timing will be advanced for normal driving and for races that are a sure win . ( the nitrous will be just incase i need extra ponies to pull through ) ..... so if i use the MSD do i turn off the car and set the timing retard or can it be done with the engine running ?
can rollerwaves only be ordered from endyn ?
Anyone else ?
opinions needed

I've never used the MSD unit, but I've had several friends that have complained about its inaccuracy. To the best of my knowledge, you dont have to turn the car off as long as you have an arming switch for it. The reason for the Accel unit is that it comes with an optional auto switch that wires into either a remote bottle opener or the solonoid. when the it is wired into the bottle, the system goes into an arming mode and retards the timing starting at a preset RPM of your choice. On the other hand, if it is plugged into the solonoid, it starts retarding timing once the solonoid is opened, with the option to still use the set RPM retard activator.
