ok im going to get in trouble but i cant post this in the right section because im a trial user but, i wanted to ask if i when i started my job i claimed zero dependents and now on my taxes if i claim me my son and girl i should get almost all of my money back right. if so ill be able to finish my car.

um, the answer is it all just depends, if your smart married and own a home, your pretty good, cant speak for the first one

 

This does belong in GDD, but you can't go there. The tax withholding (number of dependents you told your employer) is independent of your tax rate. If you have more dependents that you were withholding for, you should get money back. Personally, I would rather owe a little (just below penalty) and earn interest off of MY money.
