Default taking wheel off BMW??

I was trying to take the wheel off my mother 3-series, and I can't do it! I don't think there's anything else that has to be done besides taking off the wheel screws.

I checked in the owner's manual and service manual and I can't find any additional info. I took off all wheel screws and even hit the tires with a cheater bar. After trying several times with all my force, i gave up.

I'm thinking the wheels are just really rusted on ther. Does anyone have any tips for me?

thanks

If you removed all the lug nuts, chances are the wheel is stuck on by rust. Give it a good kick to break it free, taking absolute care to make sure you don't have any body parts under the car when you knock it off the jack.

Put the lugnuts on hand tight with a wrench. Lower the car and back the lug nuts off 1 turn or so. rock the car sideways. The extra momentum of the car will usually break the wheel free.

I had a problem with some stock wheels on an M3. Chances are, there is a little hub ring in there that has been torqued down and squished. You'll have to be a little rough with the wheel, but it will come off. And take that ring off once you get it out.

I don't know what's going on. I tried everything that you guys suggested, I even left the bolts loose and turned the steering wheel lock to lock. I also gave it a few good hard kicks and it still won't budge.

Seems like I'll have to leave this job for the dealer. Thanks again for the suggestions guys!
