Default Tachometer stopped working

Hello,

I am trying to diagnose a problem with my Tachometer and need some help.

My tachometer stopped working. The first thing people go to is the ICM, but my engine still runs fine. I can also accuratly read rpm through my dataloging software. So if I can accurately read RPM through the ECU, wouldn't that mean the ICM is fine, and the problem is the Tachometer/Gauge Cluster OR wiring?

Any help is appreciated.

Default Re: Tachometer stopped working

Well apparently it was the ICM. I swapped out to a good ICM and the tachometer problems stopped.
