I plug it in and everything works but the tach. What's going on. I have a jdm itr cluster and its not working. I tried lots of thing already. I switched the back piece off and put a U.S. one. That didn't work. I tried a U.S. cluster, that didn't work. What the heck is going on??? Anyone can you help me?

 

Check your underdash fuses. Tach signal comes from the dizzy, so if you car is running fine but your tach is out then its either a problem with the tach or a wiring problem (i.e-unplugged sensor, blown fuse, or short). But if engine isn't running then it could be your dizzy.

 

yeah, it might be the dizzy. damn i dont want to get a new one.

 

Did you put the screws back on and tighten them on the gauge itself?
