from what I can remember, Black is the ground, Red is +12V with Ignition ON, White is Illimination & the Green (is it green?) goes through the firewall to the distributor & solter it to the Blue wire (it's a signal wire).

Pull out ur cluster and just mess around with it. The only blue wire in the plugs on the back will be the one that you want to tap the green wire into. Find a good ground for the black wire. If you don't have a voltmeter then just probe around with the white wire turning your headlights on and off until you find illumination. I'm pretty sure illum. is red. Then get you main power from either igntion on in the fuse box or the back of the cluster. The last few tachs that i have put in for my friends have had everything tapped off the back of the cluster. It's just easier and cleaner.
