OK when you free rev the car it revs smooth and fast. When you are just driving around town at low rpms, Id say between 1300 to 2000 the car sounds like a WRX. Its never did this before. I would almost say it sounds like a miss but it just sounds like a WRX. lol. When you get over that rpm range or if you gas it, it sounds fine. But it worries me and is plain annoying. Anyway Last night my downpipe cracked right at the flange. Well now its putting out a little smoke through the flange and now Iam pretty sure the turbo is going bad. It also smokes when you crank the car and let it warm up for like over 5 minutes. If you get on it pretty hard itll smoke more but then clear up. Iam thinking turbo anyone else? Any suggestions? Also if anyone has a GT30 turbo for sale let me know I need to buy one.

 

have you checked your plugs? what injectors are u using?
