Default synthetic to conventional?

i was wondering if anyone had ever gone from synthetic oil to conventional? i went to the acura dealership today and he said it would be relally bad on my engine if i did it. i figure since i change my oil at least every three thousand miles, it would be ok if i went with HONDA factory oil. thanx in advance

Why would regular oil be bad for your car? Sounds silly

i think to switch between the 2 you have to fully flush out the engine. ?

You wouldn't put a fisherman on a vegetarian diet would you? Same basic principle being that the engine is well broken in with synthetic, and conventional oil has different properties and wear characteristics. It wouldn't hurt but don't be rough on the car for a few hundred miles.
