i always hear people say they upgraded thier syncrhros. after searching i understand it makes different gears last different times, but why would someone want to do that? exactly how do you synchronize the gears? Thanks in advance

You can get the tranny cryogenic. Or you can just get new syncros and what not. I dont' know about this new carbon syncros those. I don't know if there suppose to be strong or what.

 

but you know how people change something in thier tranny to make gear one last for like 2 minutres or something they ssay they synchronized thier tranny. is that what it is? Thanks

 

Synchros make shifting easier, smoother and faster -- that's all. I think what you've been talking about is some kind of myth. I believe http://www.howstuffworks.com (or similar -- try google) has some excellent diagrams showing the workings of a manual transmission.

making longer or shorter shifts is in how TALL or SHORT the gears are!
